SCHOOL BACKGROUND

The name of school is “Ecole Secondaire Saint Vincent Muhoza” It is located in the Northern Province, Musanze district, Muhoza sector and it has been working since February 3,1997.The main goal of the school is to promote girls education throughout a firm training in various domains. The ownership of the school is the Catholic Church aided by the Rwandan government .It is a boarding school for girls. Today, the school counts 454 students and 22 teachers.

GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION

Ecole Secondaire Saint Vincent Muhoza is located between Catholic Diocese of Ruhengeri and Congregation des Soeurs de Saint Vincent de Paul de Lendelede de Ruhengeri, at 95 km of Kigali city, 25 km of Cyanika Border of Uganda,13 km of Virunga National Park and 50 km of Rubavu District; in Northern Province, Musanze District, Muhoza Sector, Mpenge Cell and in Gikwege Village.

THE SCHOOL INFRASTRUCTURES

The Ecole Secondaire Saint Vincent Muhoza work in his own property. It composed by:

• 15 Classrooms,
• Infrastructures for accommodate students,
• Administrative block
• Sciences Laboratory
• 2 Smart classrooms
• 1 library
• A dining hall + Kitchen with 2 stores
• A multipurpose hall
• 5 playgrounds
• Two animal shelters (cows and pigs)
